Maggie went to the bathroom today and there were worms (hookworms it looked like from pictures online) in her feces. I am afraid I can’t afford the vet bill and wanted to know what I can do or if there is an over the counter medicine recommended. Pet's info: Dog | Redbone Coonhound | Female | spayed | 7 months and 28 days old | 52 lbs

You can't visually tell the difference between hookworms and roundworms. Thankfully, treatment is similar. You can use an OTC dewormer like the one linked below.
