My dog ate parsley and threw up yellow liquid. Is she going to be okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 7 years and 1 month old | 17 lbs

I gave my dog parsley two days in a row, 1 tsp one time and 2 tsp. The other time. She threw up yellow liquid this morning. I didn’t realize it was something that was bad for her. Will she be ok? she is 17#

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Parsley is not likely to cause vomiting. This is likely due to something else. Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Chloe evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!
