Can I use Skin So Soft on my cat to kill or remove fleas safely and effectively?

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU CAN USE SKIN SO SOFT ON A CAT TO KILL OR GET FLEAS OFF THEM? THE REASON IM ASKING IS YEARS AGO WE HAD OUTSIDE DOGS THAT WE USE SSS ON THEM THEY HAD NO FLEAS I KNOW THAT CATS LICKS THERE COATS THAT DOGS DONT THANK YOU GARY LARZIK AND PATCHES.

No, you cannot use skin so soft. You are correct that cats groom themselves and so they will ingest the product. Your best option to prevent fleas are to use a product mean for that purpose. If you must use an over the counter service, go with Frontline. Keep in mind there are issues with resistance to the product. The better products on the market are Revolution and Cheristan.
