My puppy sleeps on the cold floor. Is this causing her loose stool?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 9 days old | 8 lbs

My puppy refuses to sleep on her bed and sleeps everywhere on the floor. My place is relatively cold. She's not passed firm stool and I'm worried it cos of the cold floor. How do I get her to stop?

In puppies, the most common cause of loose stool is intestinal worms. A cold floor doesn’t cause it. Give Luns a deworming treatment. If it’s summer in India, it will be very hot, so it’s natural she will want to sleep on a cool surface. I would let her sleep where she wants.
