My 5-month eclectus is throwing up formula. Should I call the vet?

Hi I have a 5 month old eclectus who is still on formula. She seems to be throwing up recently especially when she’s fed in the morning. I reduced the amount today and she still threw up a little ? Is this normal or should I take her to the vet ?

Thanks for reaching out about Ruby. This is not normal. At five months of age she should be weaned and eating solid foods. Regurgitation can be due to crop injury or infection, ingested foreign bodies, systemic infections (bacterial, viral), metabolic disorders (liver, kidney), and others. A veterinary visit is highly recommended, as soon as possible. Good luck.
