How flexible is timing for my dog's twice-daily prescriptions?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 5 lbs

sent home from the vet with three prescriptions for my yorkie. I know the doses and how often to give it to him (twice a day) , but I'm not sure what times I should give them to him. is there such thing as giving them meds too early/too late in the day? (flagyl, reglan, amoxicillin, for upset stomach/digestion problems)

No, there isn't such a thing as giving them too early or too late, but I'd give them to Teddy at times that are convenient to you so he gets each dose at the same time each day. I'd also give them with food. I hope this helps.
