My dog has a red patch with flakey skin around it. It hurts to touch but otherwise doesn't bother him. Pet's info: Dog | Border Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 8 months old | 14 lbs

I'd have this checked out by a vet since it hurts Teddy to have it touched. He could have an injury, a skin infection, allergies, or a hot spot. The vet can diagnose what is causing this area, and can treat it. Best of luck.
