I missed my dog's flea prevention dose. Can I give it now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 54 lbs

My dogs last dose of advocate (prevention) was on the 27th of Jun. I should have given another one o the 25th of July (4weeks after)...today is the 6th of August...so I missed the date for 12 days. Is there a problem? Thank you very much.

No, it is fine to go ahead an apply the flea prevention. Give the next dose 30 days from the day you administer the medication. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
