Poor Keema. When pets don't respond to treatment as expected, it can mean that the real cause of the illness has not been identified and the appropriate treatment has not been started. I recommend to call your veterinarian again and have Keema examined again. She should have bloodwork to check for signs of kidney or liver disease. She may also need radiographs to look for cancerous tumors. Until the cause of her illness is discovered, it may be difficult to find an effective treatment. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
