My Chihuahua has a tilted head and is unsteady. Can I give cortisone?

Can i give my 11 year old Chihuahua cortisone for ear infection. She walks since Saturday unsteady on her feet and with her head tilted to the side. Pet's info: Dog | Pekingese | Female | spayed | 5 years and 8 months old | 6.5 lbs

This may indeed be an ear infection and in that case cortisone would not be indicated. I recommend that you have Mika evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for this and proceed with therapy accordingly. Best of luck!
