My guinea pig won't let me trim their nails. What's the best way?

Hi, I've had my guinea pigs for a few months now, and have read that I should be clipping their nails. I bought a nail clipper, but the guinea pigs won't let me get anywhere close with it. How do I go about trimming? Thank you! Pet's info: Small Animal | Guinea Pig | Female

If that does not work, it would be best to have this done at your veterinarian's office as they are experts in restraining and making sure that is done appropriately. Best of luck!
