Pet's info: Cat | Balinese | Female | unspayed
Is my cat having a miscarriage? My cat started excessively meowing, purring and licking her gentile area. I then noticed pink discharged coming from her. About two hours later this came out of her. She still is breathing hard and meowing, but is somewhat calmer. If this is a miscarriage, will there be more to come out? And what exactly is this that came out of her? Should I take her to see a vet?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is quite unusual and does not necessarily mean miscarriage. It would be best to have her evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to gather a more thorough history and proceed to examine her and this tissue to proceed with recommendations accordingly. Best of luck!
