Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Female | spayed | 3 months and 26 days old | 14 lbs
My almost 5 month old puts everything in her mouth when she is outside. I am still trying to train her to drop it and offer her a delicious treat without having me to tackle her mouth and get it out however sometimes she is way to fast for me to offer her a treat or something she just doesn’t want to drop it. Also she refuses to spit out the geese poop she was chewing or eating. Should I put a basket muzzle on her because sometimes she swallows many random objects that I couldn’t get it out?

Yes, a basket muzzle is a good idea but you should also consider working with a professional in-home dog trainer. They can probably help you train her to stop this behavior rather easily. I like BarkBusters and they have a trainer in your area. I’m pretty sure they do a free consult and the training is guaranteed for the life of the dog. No harm in calling them.
