Why is my Sphynx cat's urine sweet, dark, and she drinks more?

What can cause my Sphynx cat to have sweet smelling urine? Urine is dark in color and she has been drinking more than usual. Pet's info: Cat | Sphynx | Female | spayed | 3 years and 4 months old | 10 lbs

Diabetes is the most common cause of "sweet" urine smell due to the excess glucose that is filtered out. Occasionally UTI can alter the smell of the urine. I would recommend taking Hope to the vet to check out what is going on so she can get treatment, if needed.
