My dog has a painful leg lump with hair loss. What should I do?

Hi my dog have what looks like a abscess in one of his legs but im not really sure what it is. Now im noticing he is not so playful and feels pain when I touch the area, also, he lost all the hair over it. We notice it recently and has grown in the last 24 hs here some pictures

It could be an abscess, but it doesn't look like your typical one. I am more concerned about it being a mass due to the hair loss and purple color. I would recommend having Marcelo examined by a vet. The vet will likely take a sample with a needle to determine if it is an abscess, then they can discuss treatment options.
