My dog has a painful leg lump with hair loss. What should I do?

Hi my dog have what looks like a abscess in one of his legs but im not really sure what it is. Now im noticing he is not so playful and feels pain when I touch the area, also, he lost all the hair over it. We notice it recently and has grown in the last 24 hs here some pictures. Pet's info: Dog | Lowchen | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 2 months old | 15 lbs

It could be an abscess, but it doesn't look like your typical one. I am more concerned about it being a mass due to the hair loss and purple color. I would recommend having Marcelo examined by a vet.
