Why is my dog's red, watery eye not improving with vet meds?

Question

My rott is having an eye problem, its lower eyelid looks red and eyes looks watery some times. I have given antibiotics and eye drops as prescribed by my vet, still the condition is same. I have give azithromycin for 7 days (1 per day) and amoxicillin tab for 10 days(1 per day) , ivermectin 10 mg tab for 20 days and ciplox and tobramycin eye drops. Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | unneutered

This could be due to an eye injury or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, dry eye (also known as KCS), among many other conditions. Since Toby has not improved on his medications, I highly recommend that you have Toby reevaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They can attempt a different course of therapy or possibly refer you to an eye specialist. Further therapy would be based on the findings. Good luck and best wishes!
