Can I give my sick dog Pedialyte if she's not eating or drinking?

Can a dog have unflavored pedelite when she is sick. She won’t eat or drink. She is 45lbs.

Hello. If Belle feels like drinking, then yes, she can have Pedialyte to drink. You can also try to get her to eat using some cooked chicken or hamburger, or even jars of baby food ( with no onions or garlic in the ingredients ). If she still refuses to eat or drink, I do hope you can have her examined by your veterinarian. She may have some infection or inflammation that is making her feel ill. Pedialyte has electrolytes and minerals and should help and that amount should not be an issue. Thanks for caring and trying to help this poor pup, that is very kind. Good luck and have a good night!

Can I give my dog Peggy Pedialyte??? She has thrown up twice...not wanting to get up has been sleeping all day. My sister said we can but I want to make sure. Also she doesn't want to even get up for water so we have been giving her in her bed.
