Can I give my sick dog Pedialyte if she's not eating or drinking?

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 11 lbs

Can a dog have unflavored pedelite when she is sick. She won’t eat or drink. She is 45lbs.

Hello. If Belle feels like drinking, then yes, she can have Pedialyte to drink. You can also try to get her to eat using some cooked chicken or hamburger, or even jars of baby food ( with no onions or garlic in the ingredients ). If she still refuses to eat or drink, I do hope you can have her examined by your veterinarian. She may have some infection or inflammation that is making her feel ill.     Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! No, that is not likely to happen at all. Pedialyte has electrolytes and minerals and should help and that amount should not be an issue. Thanks for caring and trying to help this poor pup, that is very kind.
