How much weight should my pregnant cat gain during her pregnancy?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 9.5 lbs

My cat is a first time being a pregnant, she normally weighs 7lbs. She is now almost 10 lbs and due on aug 22nd. What is the amount of weight should i be looking for?

There isn't really a goal weight for cats. The amount they gain depends on their nutrition and how many kittens they are creating. The most worrisome thing in pregnant cats is gaining too much fat from eating too much food during pregnancy. Your vet can help you determine if this might be the case.
