My senior dog whimpers when crawling. Could it be back or hip pain?

Hello i need some help please my dog is coming up to 7 she is a medium to large dog.. anyways the problem is i have notice that when my dog crawls under the dinning chairs she lets out a whimpering / yelp this is more near to the back end of her back i am starting to get worried now about it

Poor Lexi. It sounds like she could be having back or hip pain. She is likely developing some arthritis or disc issues. I would have her seen by your vet to localize the pain and get started on the proper meds. You could also start her on a joint supplement. I like Dasuquin, Cosequin, or Flexadin w/UC-II. These are high quality supplements that will give her a therapeutic dose each time she takes it. I hope this helps and she starts to feel better soon.
