My cat has a painful lump on her neck and is sleeping a lot. Help!

Hey I have a cat her name is sox she’s been sleeping more than usual and she has grown a ball under her neck on the right side and it happend over night and it hurts when she moves and when we touch it is there anything you can tell us? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 4 months old | 10 lbs

Poor Sox. It sounds like this growth is really making her feel badly if she's lethargic, and this growth could be from an injury, a cyst, an abscess, or even a benign or malignant tumor. I'd take her into a vet now to get checked out. Best of luck.
