Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 21 days old

Hi, my dog has had a little running nose most of it is clear but this morning he woke up with like the crustiness on the corners, he’s been eating and is still active and happy, he sneezes more than usual just wondering if it’s anything I should be worried about and what I can do to help! Thanks

The crusting may indicate that an infection is starting to occur. There’s not much you can do at home except make sure Dexter gets plenty of sleep and fluids. If the crusting continues for 24 hours or gets worse, have him examined by the veterinarian. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
