Hi!My cat became sick 2 weeks ago.Even though its always meowing for food,it hardly ever eats. Also its coat has very shabby, rough fur and its lost alot of weight.Sometimes it foams saliva from its mouth. Initially,I thought it was a bacterial infection and I gave it amoxicillin for 5 days but it didnt improve.Next,I thought it could be a worm infestation and I gave it a half tablet of a drug with Mebendazole 110mg/Piperazine Citrate 275mg Praziquantel 25mg and it hasnt worked four days later

Based upon the lack of response to treatment, it’s likely Kuskus has an internal disease like renal disease or hyperthyroidism but many many conditions will cause these clinical signs. Dental disease is also possible. At this point, he needs to be examined by the veterinarian and needs bloodwork to check his organ enzyme levels. Have him examined today before he gets worse. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
