Does Revolution flea medicine kill cat worms, or do I need Profender?

Hi, I usually am pretty good at keeping up with keeping flea medication on my cats (Revolution); but I was a little delayed in getting their medication this time, and noticed that one of my cats now has worms. My question is: Will the flea medication (in this case Revolution), kill the worms? or should I purchase some Profender also; just to make sure? Thank you very much for your time and help, it is appreciated!!!! Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Female | spayed | 5 years and 2 months old | 14.5 lbs

It depends on which type of worms you are talking about. Revolution does not kill tapeworms which is what I am guessing you are referring to. Profender will kill tapeworms. So, I would suggest you do both but don't put them on at the same time. I would do one, and then wait 7-10 days before applying the other one. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
