Accidentally gave my dog too much ear mite medicine. Is it bad?

I was giving my Aussi his ear mite medicine since I’ve now confirmed he has ear mites. He’s not acting strange any but I think I may have put too much in his ears. Will it do any harm to him? Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 56 lbs
