My German Shepherd's ear is red and warm. Is it an infection?

My German Shepard has had ear mites I believe in one ear for a week or a little more now so I was treating it with the ear mite solution but this morning his ear is all red( I believe he was scratching it over night ) and it’s almost warm to touch ... he isn’t really bothered by it. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 105 lbs

Ear mites are extremely uncommon in pet dogs. This is usually seen in puppies that come from bad conditions or stray dogs. This looks like very severe inflammation and there is likely an infection present. I recommend you have Tiller seen by your vet. They need to look down into the ear with the otoscope to see what is going on.
