How to help my anxious dog stop aggression towards my husband?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 39 lbs

We rescued a chocolate lab possible hound mix female 1 year 7 months. she has high anxiety loud sudden noises, tears toys, and barks aggressively chases my husband everyday he comes home from outside or from another room only when another family member is in room with her. We are afraid she will bite him. We tried distraction, treats, separation, new toys or treats from him. She doesnt retreat on command. Its been going on since she was about 7 months and for 1yr. He cant touch Her. Help!

Poor Sadie! Behavior problems like this are quite complex, so I can't really give you a good "easy" solution over the internet. Since this has been going on for quite a while and sounds fairly severe, I would strongly recommend getting in touch with a veterinary behaviorist who can evaluate Sadie in person and help you put together a detailed plan to work on her behavior issues.
