My dog has a squishy pink bump on his thigh. When to see a vet?

So my pit bull has a marble sized pink bump on his thigh and I don't know hat to do it's squishy but he doesn't seem to be in pain. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 years and 2 months old | 90 lbs

It is very hard to give advice without seeing the lesion. Can you please post again with some photos? The best I can tell you without seeing it is that any new lumps/bumps on your dog should be examined by your vet.
