My dog has green discharge and wheezing after kennel cough meds?

My dog was prescribed medicine for having kennel cough and tomorrow is his last day for the medicine and he has green nose discharge now and sounds like he’s wheezing. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 24 days old | 10 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If Daxter has green discharge I would be worried there is an infection. I recommend taking him to the vet that saw him for a recheck. They may need to prescribe different medications or do testing, like radiographs. Because he is young he has a weaker immune system so he may need extra help getting better.
