Why is my 4-year-old pitbull eating grass? Does he need a check-up?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 4 months and 14 days old | 80 lbs

I want to get my 4 year old pitbull a check up and make sure he is up to date on worms and parvo. He is also eating grass and i would like to know why?!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The easiest way to schedule a check up would be by calling the clinic. I do think that would be a great idea. Eating grass is a non-specific finding that is sometimes seen in some dogs and can happen literally for no reason other than them wanting to taste it. There are times that dogs do it when they have a stomach upset but that is not consistent so I would not say that is what is going on with Greyson necessarily. Best of luck!
