How to protect my German Shepherd from sunburn and sun sensitivity?

Is there a way to protect my GSD from sun burn? I can’t find a product that is sun screen for dogs at pet smart or pet co

Most dogs don't need sunscreen. Some dogs with sensitivities to sunlight or thin, fine, white hair may need sun protection - usually in the form of sun avoidance or clothing. If sunburn is an issue for Noble, I would recommend having him examined by the vet to see if there is a sun sensitivity or disease process allowing this to happen. The issue with most sunscreens is that the dogs are prone to licking it off. If you want to try a human product, make sure that there is no zinc in the sunscreen.
