My dog has tick fever. Is it contagious to my other dog? How serious?

Hello doctor My dog is diagnosed with tick fever What precautions should i I take to avoid my another dog who is 7 years old getting the latter plz help me and replay as soon as possible Also is these disease very serious

Tick fever (babesiosis) is only transmitted by ticks; not dog to dog. A tick would have to bite him and then bite your other dog for her to get infected. Yes, this disease is very serious.
