Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 21 days old | 28 lbs
Puppy has small ‘bug bite’ looking bumps on elbows and has scratched some into scabs. Also has thrown up twice today. Doesn’t seem to bothered when we feel the affected areas. From what I’ve researched his far, looks like Folliculitis to me, however the vomiting is what is concerning us now. 4 month old AKC golden retriever.

Yes, it looks like a folliculitis but in these cases mites infection is always in differential.). Disinfection may be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any licking (if any). At this stage vomiting seems completely unrelated, and I would recommend to approach it by withholding food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. If the signs persist a check up would be ideal though.
