Why isn't my dog's crusty skin growth healing with topical treatment?

Our 8 years old cocker developed a skin condition on her right part of rib cage.Size about 3 mm, pinky yellow crusts arrownd, not attachment to the underlying soft tissue.Some serous or purulent discharge.Application of colloidal silver and betadine for last month did not support the healing. Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 8 years and 2 months old | 26 lbs

That appears to be a benign wart but it could also be a sebaceous cyst. They will only go away with surgical removal. No topical treatment will work. It is not a concern; only a cosmetic blemish. If you really want it gone you will have to have your vet remove it surgically.
