What's a gentle grooming brush for my Corgi's heavy shedding?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 7 months and 21 days old | 28 lbs

I am trying to find a grooming brush that would help me with my corgis. I don’t want something that will pull too much fur, I don’t want something that will hurt them. I do have a grooming glove but it doesn’t work as good as I thought.

The Furminator would be a good option. It doesn’t hurt them when you brush them. As long is you don’t brush one area for too long, you won’t remove too much hair. You just have to pay attention to where you are brushing. This would be your best option to remove the undercoat. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
