Cat attacked by dog: Is her wobbling, twitching, vomiting serious?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Machbagral | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

My cat seems to have been attacked by my dog about a hour ago. She has some cuts, including one by her eye, but the actual eye looks okay. She hasn't been walking and is very wobbly when trying to move. Her head has been twitching and has just thrown up. She ate some of her food but did not drink any water. I am wondering if this could be signs of any head trauma or something similar, or if It could be from the chaos of the event? Let me know what you think, thank you so much!

Certainly the cuts/scratches/wounds need to be considered infected and antibiotics or appropriate disinfection is required. The vomiting episode may be related to head trauma together with the twitching as well. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to rule out these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately.
