Both my cats have developed an allergy to something, scratching and grooming mire than usual. One of the cats is taking a steroid pill which has helped. What would be the most common cause of their allergies? Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 3 years and 4 months old | 17 lbs

Certainly both cats could develop an allergy at the same time but more common would be fleas. I recommend to make sure both cats are treated for fleas with a good product like Revolution or Comfortis.
