My cockatiel is shaking, sleepy, and not singing. Should I see a vet?

My cockatiel has stopped singing for a while and I feel that he is not happy anymore like he used to be.he is sometimes sleepy. And he is shaking for no reason i don’t why. He never been like this before. Is everything normal? Or should I take him to a vet?

Thanks for reaching out about Coco. These clinical signs are not normal and a veterinary visit is recommended. Review diet and husbandry to correct any deficiencies, as low calcium, protein and some vitamins can cause weakness. Infections or metabolic disorders should also be on the differential list. A veterinarian can assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Good luck.
