Why is my dog dragging her rear and peeing often? UTI or vaginitis?

About a week ago I noticed my chihuahua was dragging her behind on the floor too much for a regular itch. I took her to the vet to have her anal glands expressed and they were full, the vet assumed that was the cause. But she is still dragging her rear end, but It’s actually her vaginal area she seems to be dragging. She is also urinating frequently. Is this a UTI? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed

Hello. It is very possible that Bijou has a UTI, but she may also have a case of vaginitis. The UTI may require antibiotics, but the vaginitis may be treatable with a topical cream.
