Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 4 years and 4 months old | 21 lbs
My cat is an inside/outside cat. He goes to the bathroom outside. He got injured in a fight & forced to keep him indoors for over 3 weeks to heal. While indoors he was using a litter box. I always kept one for him but he NEVER liked using it. He was getting depressed indoors & put on weight. For the last 3.5 days I have been letting him go outside again. The odd thing is he comes in from outside & goes in the litter box, then goes outside again. He's not going outside? Why? Thank you

It’s impossible to know why Snoops is doing this but he must have either gotten used to it or he decided he liked the experience. This is actually not unusual for cats. At some point his tastes may change and he may begin going outside again but until then, keep the litter box available. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
