My dog has snail-like things in poop and itchy legs. Is it hookworm?

Hy. I have a dalmation named "BOBO". She is very active. But it's been 2 days that i have seen a snail like structure (but small) in her poop. I checked it online and i am scared if it's hookworm. She is 1 and half years old. She has itchy legs nowadays and there was blood in her butt but couldn't detect blood on poop. Please recommend what should i do? Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bobo. I recommend that she has a stool sample evaluated by her veterinarian. If there are parasites present, their eggs will be evident under the microscope. If so, her veterinarian will prescribe a deworming medication. If what you are seeing in the stool are not parasites, it could be mucus. This typically indicates inflammation. There are medications for this as well. I hope this information helps!
