Why is my dog vomiting after Benadryl and steroid shot for swelling?

Hi my 10 month old pembroke welsh corgi Woke up with swollen nose we gave him some kids Benadryl for swelling than an hr or two later his eye puffed up so we took him to vet and they give him another dose of Benadryl and a steroid shot for itching. We came home he was drinking ate normal and then at 11 oclock in night he threw up and then threw up multiple times after that first it was his food then just liquid. Is that side affects or should i take him to vet when they open today? Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 2 days old | 24 lbs

Poor pup! I recommend to have him examined again today. It’s possible the liquid Benadryl is making him throw up. The doctor may recommend to try a tablet instead. The doctor may also want to send him home with some oral steroids and perhaps a medication to stop vomiting. A bland diet for the next 24 hours may also be beneficial. I hope Kai starts feeling better quickly!
