Thank you for submitting your question regarding Buddy. I am sorry to hear that his symptoms have not resolved. Unfortunately, I suspect that he needs further testing or repeat testing to determine the result. In cases such as his, a bleeding disorder, bladder cancer, a urinary tract infection or bladder stones are most likely. You may consider seeking a second opinion with an internal medicine specialist if his regular veterinarian has not been able to diagnose his problem. I hope this information helps!

Poor Chunchy! The best thing would be to have your vet take a look at him to determine the cause. He could have an infection, injury, bleeding disorder, etc. and your vet can do an examination to diagnose and then determine if treatment is needed. He may need an antibiotic and/or pain medications to help treat the problem. Hope he feels better soon!

Based on the signs, he could have a urinary tract infection and/or bladder stones. He should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. Your vet can test a urine sample for infection and then prescribe an antibiotic, if needed.

He could have a bladder infection from not emptying his bladder completely. Your vet can check a urine sample to see if he has an infection and needs an antibiotic. Glad he is recovering from the fce.
