Good morning. I need some help please! My shitzu Lily has always been super sensitive to sounds, noises, thunder storms, etc. But it's Sunny out today and there is nothing stressful going on in the house. But Lily has been so incredibly anxious lately, and I have no idea why. She is so anxious this morning that she's panting and trembling and trying to hide like there is a thunderstorm or something. And like I said, there are no stressors in the house whatsoever. Please, I need some advice!

Since this is a behavior without appropriate context (like thunderstorms), I would recommend having Lily examined by a vet. These types of behaviors can be similar to pain responses, difficulty breathing, heart arrhythmia, pre-seizure activity, etc. The vet will do a thorough exam and discuss Lily's relevant medical history to determine if additional diagnostics are necessary.
