My goose seems to get really nervous when I pick him up and he screams once in my arms. Sometimes he gets really scared and drools. Should I be concerned?

It could just be that Gerald isn't used to being handled and so is fearful. If they are otherwise OK and acting normal and healthy outside of you picking them up, that is likely the case. You can help Gerald get used to you by offering a favorite treat every time you approach, working on petting/handling while feeding the favorite treat, then offer the treat when you pick them up. If Gerald gets stressed at all during this, going back to the thing they were most comfortable with (petting, being fed, etc) and working back up from there can help.
