My puppy fell off the bed. When do head trauma symptoms show up?

My 8 week old golden retriever puppy fell off the bed this morning. He got up right away and has showed no signs of any symptoms of brain injury I have researched. He has eaten, drank, gone to the bathroom, been playful followed by sleepy (this is how he has been since we took him home. He sleeps a lot.) His pupils are the same size, gums are pink, and I have examined him with no whining when I touch anywhere. I’m wondering if head trauma signs can show up later, or if I’m in the clear? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 26 days old | 8 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Rudy is adorable (I have 2 Golden’s so I’m partial)! Falling off the bed is typically not severe enough to cause brain injury/trauma. If he’s acting normal I wouldn’t be worried. The most I would be worried about is a broken bone but it sounds like that didn’t happen. I think Rudy will be fine. Give him lots of kisses for me!!
