Why is my budgie pacing and agitated at the bottom of its cage?

Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

budgie has been pacing back and forth on the bottom of the cage for over three hours, seem agitated and is out of character. no changes have been made to cause a sudden change.

I'm sorry to hear about Blue! If moving his cage to a quieter area or covering it for a bit doesn't help him to relax, or he seems to be showing signs of illness in addition to the sudden pacing, seeking veterinary care in person to rule out any health issues is best.

    Repetitive behaviors can sometimes indicate stress or boredom in pets, and just having four babies may be stressful. However if you see any signs of illness such as changes in eating habits, falling over or stumbling, puffing up feathers, etc, it may indicate illness or injury and should be seen by your vet.
