Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Male | neutered
Ivan throws up every time I feed him a rich, broth like food. He also sometimes throws up if he’s eaten too much. Is this a volume issue (too much food), is it too rich? If it’s just dry food he only throws up if he’s eaten too much. He is a fat cat who def isn’t not getting food.

Yes, rich and fatty foods for pets can cause vomiting and may even trigger problems such as pancreatitis which requires veterinary treatment. Cats can also eat until they're overfull if given too much at once. I would avoid giving any broth or extras that cause vomiting (and especially if he's overweight) and try to spread out his meals to 3-4 smaller meals throughout the day so he is still eating enough, but isn't able to gorge himself at once. If the vomiting continues, a workup from your vet is best.
