I am sorry to hear about your concern for Blue! The cost of surgery will vary greatly and depend on the vet hospital you take your dog to and the region in the country, as prices vary in different regions just like cost of living. You will likely need to bring Blue into a veterinary clinic for an examination of the eye for them to give you a more precise estimate. They also will likely want to wait until Blue is older before completing the surgery unless the dermoid is causing her pain, as it is safer to do surgery when they are older.

    Hello. Surgical costs can vary from region to region so the best way to identify costs is to talk with several vets in your area. Many veterinarians may be uncomfortable doing any type of eye surgery, so you may need to see a veterinary ophthalmologist. If you are in a state with a veterinary college, this is where I would start as they are generally not for profit & maybe a little less expensive than a private practice surgeon.
