Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 19 years and 6 months old | 12 lbs
We've been told that our 19-year-old cat has tumors in her pancreas and intestines (ultrasound). We are just trying to keep her comfortable but don't know if she's in pain. What behavior should we look for?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding SweetPea. I am sorry to hear about her diagnosis. Cats hide signs of pain very well. Typically I assume that cancer is painful and will always offer pain medications. Otherwise, I have owners watch for decreased appetite, hiding and crying as these can all be signs of discomfort. I hope this information helps!
