My dog had her pyometra surgery done on 9th July n today I saw this.Is it normal to pass this discharge 10 days after surgery?she has also started passing small amounts of stools in sleep r these related or why happening?

Yes, the discharge can be normal 10 days after surgery. As long as she is acting normally just monitor the discharge for now. If it persists for another week then you should take her back to the vet for a follow-up. Passing small amounts of stool can also be normal. This can be due from the anesthesia and/or medications she is taking which slow down the GI tract and disrupt the normal bacterial population in the intestines. She shouldn't be having any discharge like this this long out from her surgery. I would go to another vet for a second opinion here. I would first check her urine to make sure she does not have high glucose levels in there. I agree that diabetes would be high on my radar. An ultrasound of her belly may be needed if her urine checks out ok. I hope that you get to the bottom of your pet Chhutki's abnormal discharge soon. Best of luck and take care.
